Undercover Instructor - Series 1 with Cat Webb, owner of Good Times Pilates, Melbourne
Today I’m moving and chatting with Cat Webb, owner of Good Times Pilates, Melbourne
Instructor: Cat Webb
Studio: Good Times Pilates, Melbourne
Links: You can follow Cat here on Instagram or check out Good Times Pilates here
Cat Webb is the founder of Good Times Pilates in Melbourne. She has only recently made the transition into studio owner which so many teachers imagine themselves doing one day! So I couldn’t think of a better time to drop in, partake in Cat’s session and hear all about the evolution of her teaching philosophy, class planning and approach to growth!
Class Planning Process - from new instructor to a studio owner
Check out the Class Plans and Video below where Cat talks about how her approach to class planning has changed over time. From planning every class whilst working across many different studio's to now trusting herself in her own space and learning how to be good at failing sometimes! She talks about some of the most important questions you can ask yourself so that your clients actually learn and retain information for the long term.
Here’s a look at Cat’s class Plan in The Pilates Playbook
How to Build Connection with your clients as a Pilates Instructor
Cat chats about how she builds connection, her approach to cuing and what fearless movement now means to her.
You can check out more videos from my chat with Cat about her teaching philosophy later this week over our Instagram (IGTV) here!
