The Undercover Instructor - Ep 3 with Tahlia Ware from One Hot Yoga and Pilates
Today I’m moving and chatting with
Tahlia Ware, Instructor and Pilates Manager at One Hot Yoga, South Yarra.
Tahlia has the ability to make you feel at home almost instantly when you are in her class! She has a lot of energy that seems to never get depleted and is honestly one of the hardest working people in the industry I know. What I particularly picked up on when I participated in Tahlia’s open level class at One Hot Yoga was her clarity and playfulness as she moved through the room. Her class told a story and her energy ebbed and flowed in the perfect way as she layered each exercise and encouraged us to explore the ‘edges’ of our abilities!
Class Planning and building a strong foundation
Tahlia takes us through the importance of building a foundation, finding your process and having something to go back to when your planning and moving through different stages of your career.
Tahlia talks about the importance of Self Practice as Pilates teachers. She talks us through the benefits of having a strong self practice and how that effects your teaching.
Here’s a look at Tahlia’s class Plan in The Pilates Playbook
Click on the class plan below to get a closer look at some of the exercises we went through in class.
Tahlia talks about how she encourages her clients to push their own boundaries and how she helps them move out of their comfort zones. She also talks about both the physical and emotional benefits we have on our clients even when they leave the classroom.
